Welcome to Autumn!

 We're eagerly preparing for the Fall Horse Trials and Area V Championships.  So that we can have accurate and hospitable stabling and scheduling for your convenience,
PLEASE PAY PARTICULAR ATTENTION CONCERNING YOUR ENTRIES:

1.  All Championship entries will be run in ONE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION PER LEVEL, combining Juniors, Seniors, and Horses.  This decision from the Area V Chair and Council was made in order to create a more meaningful Area V Championship competition.  Just think, you could be the best of the best!

2.  Entries must be IN THE SHOW SECRETARY'S HANDS by Closing Day (Tuesday, September 13) and be COMPLETE (entry, copy of negative Coggins, Stabling Form and fees) to avoid a $50 Late Fee.  Refer to the Omnibus listing for details. All entries will be posted on Startbox the evening we receive them.

3.  NO FAXED OR ELECTRONIC ENTRIES ACCEPTED, in order to avoid numerous transmission problems and inaccuracies.  This means that if you pay XEntry by credit card, you MUST print out and mail or deliver your entry to us.  Be aware that mail often takes FOUR DAYS or longer to reach Weatherford, and Overnight Express can even taken three days.  Remember, you have no risk by entering as early as possible; scratches before closing day receive full refunds.

4.  Please come to the event prepared to take extraordinary precautions against field fires.  Conditions are literally dry as tinder, so smoking will NOT be permitted on grounds, only in your car or RV.

5.  To preserve our turf for the competition horses, please keep all golf carts and wheeled vehicles OFF ANY TURF and only in designated areas.
